Born
on 15th October 1969, in Patangarh Ramesh
Tekam has been painting for twenty two years
now. In his childhood Ramesh saw a lot of
wild elephants in the forests around Patangarh.
Most of his canvases carry the images of the
elephants and tigers in its tranquil state.With
his bold strokes and use of vibrant colour
Ramesh Tekam paints the different species
of animals that he saw while he was growing
up. He fills up the figures in his paintings
with the beehive or paddy motif.
